IRAM Pico Veleta

The 30-metre Telescope on Pico Veleta is the most powerful milimetre single dish telescope in the world. Due to its large surface and high sensitivity the Telescope allows the exploration of cosmic objects from our Solar System up to the most remote galaxies of our Universe. Using the 30-m Telescope on Pico Veleta astronomers discovered one fifth of the interstellar molecules know to date.
