Access hours at JCMT are dependent upon whether an observer

 travels to Hawaii to observe. In such cases Access Hours 
 equal the hours approved for the programs by the TAG/ITAC:

  Intake of proposals during semesters 09A and 09B 
  included four(4) and four(4), respectively, that were 
  RadioNet-eligible. Of these, two(2, above) and two(2), 
  respectively, were approved by the various TAGs/ITAC.

 With the flexible observing scheme at JCMT it is always hoped that
 older incomplete programs might also acquire more data ('Access').

Problems / Issues

• Issues - organisational, administrative or other problems foreseen

 Overall demand for 'PI' time on JCMT has declined over recent
 semesters with the advent of the Legacy Surveys. Potential
 independent observers find their observational needs satisfied
 through membership of the surveys. Demand for RadioNet support
 has declined proportionately.

Semester 10B (which includes 2010 August, September . .)

 will, for the first time, offer SCUBA-2 to JCMT users.
 Demand is expected to be heavy from all communities, and
 the number of RadioNet-eligible proposals should increase
 proportionately.
