Please see STEP BY STEP to download the required materials and information. We can also provide free materials such as pens, TNA information and possibly T-shirts, see Outreach \\ ** Support for events ** If you are planning a radio astronomy training event and would like RadioNet support please contact us well in advance to discuss what is available and what is eligible. \\ Meeting organisers, please provide in advance a list of the names, institutes and countries of all participants. If anyone is attending from outside the partner countries, it will be simplest to issue everyone with an advance invitation (which has to come from the WP4 coordinator). Participants should be encouraged to get their institutes to support them where possible, but if not, it is normally simple to support people from the EU and associated countries (within the overall budget, of course). People from most other countries apart from the richest can usually also be supported if funds allow, but in all these cases an invitation is required. Also please supply a signed list of all participants who actually attended, after the meeting, when sending in the claim form(s). \\ Additional finance from non-RadioNet sources may be available for *participants from less well-off countries*. It is up to the organisers of each event to decide whether to support the applications of individuals, depending on factors such as how useful the meeting would be for them. These are funding sources which must be applied for independently, often 6 months or more in advance, and RadioNet has no say over the outcome but they may help with e.g. intercontinental air travel which is outside our budget. ** Useful links ** * International Centre for Theoretical Physics/Office of Astronomy Development * International scholarships for developing countries (mostly for visits to/from USA) * African Astronomical Society * UK Royal Society (visits to/from UK, usually requiring ongoing collaboration) * Many other national Academies of Science, Astronomical Societies etc. Please note that it is the responsibility of the applicant to identify suitable potential sources of non-RadioNetfunding, well in advance, and to ensure that s/he meets eligibility criteria. \\ ===== After the event ===== \\ **Travel claims** \\ Travel claim forms You can only claim for expenses actually incurred. For example, if you cancel at the last minute but the flight or accomodation is non-refundable, you (or your insurance) are liable (even if RadioNet would have paid if you had attended). Normally, the meeting organiser will gather up all completed claim forms, receipts etc. and contact me to arrange sending them in for payment (it may be quicker to send the forms to JIVE first, but in all cases please keep a copy). \\ **Report** \\ After an event which has received RadioNet support, the organiser should download the report template , rename it, fill it in and return it to me as soon as convenient or within one month if at all possible (please contact me in case of questions or delays). For major deliverables (ERIS, YERAC, IRAM and Solar/other events with >5k RadioNet funding), please use . Thank you. \\ Dr. A.M.S. Richards, UK ARC Node, Room 3.135 \\ Jodrell Bank Centre for Astrophysics, Alan Turing Building, \\ University of Manchester, M13 9PL, UK \\ \\ ** Visas ** \\ Please check whether you need a visa, how long it takes to obtain and what information you need and ask the meeting organiser in good time, giving full details of the information needed. Meeting organisers need to be able to supply information e.g. details of accomodation, subsistence support etc., and send an intivation letter, in good time, which may be several months. \\ Horizons2020 ===== Deliverables ===== \\ \\ * na:new_skills:List of the Deliverables \\
